This is a building of small office spaces for professionals, designed to optimize and use the full potential of the services, through top communications technology. By means of sophisticated computer systems, the offices have communal secretarial and messenger services, and an efficient solution of the floor planning allows the use of shared meeting rooms and service areas. The offices face East and West, the West facade is protected by a shutter which controls the afternoon sun.
The entrance takes place through a space which is six floors high, clad in cedar wood. Moving through the hall to reach the lifts or stairs, one discovers the landscape surrounded by the Coastal Mountain Range. The corridors to access the offices are arranged along a route in which a straight line and a curve are confronted in order to add tension to the circulation space. From these corridors there is a double transparency towards the North and towards the South, allowing the entrance of natural light and the views towards the landscape.
The building is constructed in exposed concrete with ochre colored pigments and phenolic boards of 4 ft. x 8 ft. were used as molds. The idea was to try and assimilate the concrete to the color of the dry grass of the surrounding mountains. White windows were used.
